Jeff began his career as a medical laboratory scientist in a community hospital setting, spending over a decade on the provider side of healthcare. After completing a nursing degree, he moved into the business side of healthcare in the human capital space.
He began this effort in Arizona in the nursing staffing business, growing that state for Favorite Staffing, Inc. with a nearly 800% increase in volume in a three year span. The company named him regional head of a multi-state territory for the company where significant gains were also recognized.
Jeff was recruited by Clinforce, Inc. a division of Cross Country TravCorps, Inc., a provider of clinical research staffing services where as Vice President of Business Development, he headed up the business development team, expanding the company’s reach from an east coast to a national presence. During Jeff’s tenure, the company grew from $14 million to $40 million in revenues.
Having been involved in aggressive expansions and several startups of clinical research and data sciences staffing, Jeff was recruited for the startup of the clinical research and drug development staffing business in North and South America for i3 Pharma Resourcing, a United Health Group/Ingenix company. i3 Pharma Resourcing provides clinical research professionals to pharma, biotechs, medical device and CROs.
In 2008, Jeff was recruited by the partners of Leaders For Today, LLC., a then localized Massachusetts and Rhode Island based provider of interim healthcare leadership. He was tasked with taking over the daily operations of the firm, planning and executing an expansion as well as leading acquisition activities which have resulted in a company that has multiple regional offices around the country and encompasses an international presence as well.
Jeff holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Curry College in Milton, MA. He is past Chairman of the Public Relations Committee for the New England Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
He resides in Plymouth, MA with his wife Carol and two sons. Jeff was a long time hockey coach throughout his sons’ youth sports time and has groomed them for golf, a game which he enjoys with his family today.
