Under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer, the Director of Practice Management will provide day-to-day leadership of the Physician Services Department and will assist the Hospital and Clinics CEO, CQO and Physician Medical Director in developing and assisting physician practices in order to ensure community access to care. Operational duties will include management of medical staff services provided either directly or indirectly through subcontracts for physician practices. The Director will have oversight of the three Regional Clinic Supervisors and also assist with physician recruitment. The Director of Practice Management will provide decisive, solution-oriented administrative judgment and maintain excellent interpersonal relations with all physicians and clinic and hospital staff. The Director will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of physician practices, including management, operations, financial and reimbursement and will effectively utilize resources to achieve productivity, efficiency and high quality of care.  A qualified Director will demonstrate the ability to support and further a patient-centered care culture and provide caring and dedicated leadership to their team.

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s required with a focus in physician practice management, health or hospital administration preferred. Master’s degree preferred. American College of Medical Practice Executive (ACMPE) certification preferred not required.  Minimum of three to five years’ experience in physician practice management required. Must be proficient in MS Office products and possess effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and judgment required. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and possess a leadership style that emphasizes teamwork and exceptional patient experience.

6 month engagement, housing and travel provided.
