A premiere post-acute neuro-rehabilitation facility in the Dallas area is searching for a Rehabilitation psychologist or neuropsychologist to be based in a facility north of the city.

The facility offers both day-neuro and residential services to older adolescent and adult individuals with various neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, encephalopathy, neuro-tumor resection, anoxia/hypoxia, etc.  Applicants with experience in brain injury rehabilitation settings are preferred.  Responsibilities include clinical intervention, neuropsychological evaluations, guiding and providing consultation to multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams, patient and family education, and participating in program development.

Applicants are to be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas. Requirements include a doctorate from an accredited graduate school in psychology, and completion of at least one year of post-doctoral supervision/training. Board Certification or aspiration to become board certified in clinical neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology is desired.

Position is based in the middle of the North Texas growth corridor, competitive housing prices- exemplary schools.  Within easy driving distance to professional and semiprofessional sports, Cowboys-Rangers-Stars-Mavericks-Rough Riders.  Premier colleges in the area include SMU, TCU, TWU, University Texas at Dallas and Denton, branches of Texas A&M.  Also some of the best shopping, dining and entertainment experiences in the country are an easy drive away.  While only minutes away from the city, the facility gives the impression of being “out in the country”.  Quiet and tranquil, rolling hills, a wildlife reserve on campus-Chef prepared meals and a staff that cares.
