Leadership Team

BillHaylonBill Haylon  •  CEO

I began my career many years ago at Bain & Company, the global strategy consulting firm, where I learned how to think about complicated business problems.  I left Bain for the only better job I could think of, which was to become an entrepreneur, an avocation from which I have never strayed.  LFT is my fourth entrepreneurial venture, and I am as excited by this opportunity as I was by any of the three ventures before this.  Having spent a number of years in healthcare, I readily recognize the value that we can bring to healthcare clients.  At the end of the day, it’s all about talent.

I believe that a company’s success starts with the integrity and accountability that comes from a strong team. I began my career as a professional basketball player, where I learned the importance of good leadership both on and off the court.  I established my sales identity as the co-founder of NextPlay, and implemented my strategies as the National Sales Director at Neighborhood Diabetes. I am thrilled to be at the helm of our business development group at LFT.

Education:

  • BA, University of New England

Experience:

  • National Sales Director, Neighborhood Diabetes
  • Co-founder, NextPlay

Bringing the right people together for the right opportunities has been the common thread weaving together all of my professional experiences. Whether it was finding the perfect in-home trainer for newly diagnosed diabetics, or aligning an audience of small-company CEOs with the most relevant content and speakers, the challenge remained the same – identify one person’s specific needs or pain points, and introduce them to another person (or better yet, several people!) who can help solve the problem or address the need. At LFT, I spend my days learning as much as I can about my clients’ organizations and leadership needs, and learning as much as I can about the background and motivations of our fantastic roster of candidates, so I can play a role in bringing together the right people at the right time – does it get any better than that?
