Pizza Friday

When I first arrived at LFT three summers ago, I bought pizza for the team one Friday for lunch (big spender!) and said they could use the time together to ask any questions that they wanted about the company but were afraid to ask. Pizza Friday has evolved since then in a number of ways. First, it happens every Friday now (I’m pretty certain I had no say in that). Second, we now tend to eat healthier food (except when baseball season opens, in which case we eat hot dogs and Dairy Queen). And third, the number of people at lunch continues to grow.

Growth is definitely fun. Challenging but fun. It makes me really appreciate the talented people who have helped us build and execute a better model that really is valuable to our healthcare clients. So I’m really happy to announce the addition of three more people to the LFT team.

• April Hannon ( joins us as an Executive Recruiter after having worked in HR and talent acquisition at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. We are absolutely thrilled to have her join our team. She knows all the positions for which we do searches, she knows how hospitals hire, she works hard, and she has a great attitude. In a short period of time, she has already made an impact.

• Jill Ettori ( similarly comes to LFT as an Executive Recruiter. Prior to joining us, Jill worked for the Mass Hospital Association, so she knows hospitals and probably knows more people in healthcare in New England than I do. She is very high energy and has a truly infectious “can do” attitude.

• Caroline Boudreau ( comes right from Colgate University where I can honestly say she had a GPA that I could only dream of. Very smart, very hard working, Caroline joins us as a Business Development Analyst supporting Derek Vogel’s team. She is already learning very quickly.

Since he’d probably be mad if I didn’t mention him, Alex Santiago ( returns for a second summer as an Intern working on candidate research. Alex is a rising senior at Clark University and has been a great find for us.

These new people and the rest of the LFT team are really what make LFT a special place and allow us to continue to grow and create opportunities for our candidates and for our people. I am grateful to all of them. Please feel free to reach out and welcome them.

If we can ever be of help to you, don’t be shy. You know where to find us.
