Welcome Carmen Kenrich

Sometimes we just get lucky. On January 3rd, Carmen Kenrich joins us as a Regional Director of Business Development.  Those of you who know Carmen recognize what an engaging, passionate individual she is who cares deeply about healthcare (and about her three kids whose names all begin with “T” and about the NY Giants).  Smart, dependable, energetic.  And she knows the industry, having been in healthcare since getting her EMT license back in college more than a few years ago. Carmen has spent that last decade as an executive recruiter at our good friends Phillips, DiPisa and Associates,...

Do you ever sit down and take a minute to think about your own accomplishments? Think about how you’ve gotten where you are – professionally and personally? Think about the obstacles you have had to overcome and the hurdles you have had to jump over? Now think about who helped you get there because I guarantee you didn’t do it alone. They need help. Interims were our original service line. They remain the core of what we do. And the comments below reflect our commitment to getting the best talent out there to work for us as interims. They are our employees and our...

When I arrived at Leaders For Today in June 2014, Dan had only been with the organization for a couple of months. So when I came in and began to change many of the processes, the culture and more, it was a little daunting for him. In fact, while he will never admit it, the change probably scared the heck out of him. For several members of the original team, it was too much. They didn’t last, and I fully understand that. Change isn’t for everybody. But Dan stuck with it, and I...

No One Is Getting Any Younger

I had my gallbladder removed last week. Don’t worry, I’m not looking for sympathy. Rather, it turned out to one of the best opportunities for customer research that a person in my job could ever experience. So I thought I would share the story. I went into the ED of a community hospital on a Sunday night and came out of the system’s anchor urban medical center on Wednesday around noon. In between, I met the ambulance people, two ED doctors, two ED nurse practitioners, four ED RNs, two ED technicians, the CAT scan tech, two hospitalists, four med/surg RNs, five nursing assistants, the night...
