Small community based healthcare organization that is focused on providing quality health care emphasizing Care, Compassion and Community. Located in central New Hampshire, the organization includes two hospitals and several provider practices/services in the Lakes Region area which offers a broad range of services.

The Perioperative Manager  is accountable for the coordination, direction, organization and evaluation of the perioperative patient care, human resources, and department management on a 24 hour basis. The Manager will serve as the clinical leader for perioperative services.  The Manager will ensure, oversee and promote AORN standards of practice while expediting efficient and effective departmental operations.  The Manager shall supervise multiple departments within Perioperative Service including, but not limited to: the Operating Room, Endoscopy Suite, Central Sterile Reprocessing and collaborates with the Perianesthsia Manager for the Special Procedures Room.  The Perioperative Manager shall assume the duties of the Perianesthesia Manager in his/her absence and serve as a resource for all areas of Perioperative Services.

This position cultivates trusting relationships between surgeons, Anesthesia Providers, staff, other hospital departments and administration.  The Manager collaborates with the leadership team and other departments with the organization within surgical services to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes, preserving an outstanding patient experience.

The successful applicant will have graduated from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelors degree preferred.  Five or more years of clinical experience in the Operating Room with at least 1 year in a leadership role as well as a background in perioperative nursing through the continuum of care is preferred. Current NH RN License required and current applicable national certification is preferred.
