Meet the New LFT!

Today is an exciting day. I am very happy to present quite a few changes we have made around LFT (Leaders For Today).  First, I’d like to give you a little background on how we got here, and what to expect from us in the future:

Staffing companies can get a bad rap for chasing the commission rather than taking the necessary time to understand the client’s needs and working hard to find a really good person to fill those needs.  Many companies in this line of work have been guilty of this, despite what their marketing pitches say.  I suspect that LFT has at times, too.

I am determined more than ever to make sure this never again happens to us.  We provide critically important services that help healthcare organizations continue to effectively fulfill their missions.  With the ever-changing healthcare landscape, we could easily argue that our services are now more important than ever.  After all, our product is talented people – and talented people deliver healthcare.  Widgets, which are easier to deliver, do not.

As an organization, we have undertaken a process to truly re-think the product we are delivering.  We have a wonderful group of experienced healthcare people who we place in organizations over and over again to fix a problem, plug a hole, or bring a skill-set that the hospital doesn’t have.  No matter how good the talent we have, however, you can’t put a square peg in a round hole.  If we don’t all listen carefully, we will never know if the hole is round, square, triangle or all plugged up.

In recognition of this insight, you will now see some changes that reflect this shift, like our logo above, and our new website here. Please, take a look around and tell us what you think. And, while our formal name remains Leaders For Today, that is too long a name to remember (or say). Just call us LFT, and we will still respond quickly, with our ears wide open.

If you want to talk about the improvements, you know where to find me.
