The Permanent Story

Our past few blogs have focused on why hospitals can benefit from using interims. Interims are our original business, and there aren’t very many other firms who provide the full breadth of senior executive and mid-executive interim talent that LFT does. And although we like to stay humble, it is very satisfying to help healthcare clients who are in immediate need of leadership help. That way we can help them focus on what’s most important – taking care of the patients.

The other side of our business is permanent placement, which historically LFT had done on an ad hoc basis, but we really started getting serious about it a little over two years ago. We’ve expanded our recruiting talent, recruiters focus on specific job categories, and as we grow we continue to explore new ideas that will add value to what we do (i.e., clinicians). The goal is always to find the top talent as quickly as possible. How are we doing you may ask? A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Take a look at the two graphs below:Untitled

Untitled2There is a lot that goes into this type of improvement. Are we pleased with our direction? Absolutely. Are we done? Absolutely not. Manufacturing companies believe in continuous improvement. Hospitals believe in continuous improvement. Why not search firms?

As an industry, we need to improve.
